The Environmental Committee invites you to join us on a wonderful boat ride/tour on the Anacostia River!

Go with the FLOW and stay CURRENT!

Friday, August 18th

Meet at Richard Byrd Library to carpool 8:55 am

It’s a 27 minute ride with no traffic, we may have traffic!

Arrive at Bladensburg Waterfront Park  9:45 (latest)

Boat leaves the dock at 10 am

One hour tour ride.  A journey in the war of 1812 History, and the river itself!

WE can have lunch back in Springfield afterwards

We will provide snacks and water.

A $5 donation pp would be appreciated.

The boat is reserved for just us!

Friends, husbands, grand kids are welcome.

We can take up to 20.
